Accomplished events, logistics, and communications specialist who thrives on working under pressure. Lifetime of experience in auto racing environment having grown up in a racing family. WORK EXPERIENCE

SCCA Pro Racing: April 2018-Present | Senior Manager of Race Operations

  • Manage the operations of the F4 U.S. & F3 Americas Championships including recruitment and management of the Field Staff, creation and implication of the schedule and supplemental regulations and scheduling.

MSR Houston: August 2007- April 2018 | Events & Driving Schools Manager

  • Oversee the member and public relations plus marketing of MSR Houston, including: managing social media, website and online registration, creating and distributing weekly emails to members and guests, planning and executing member events at the track and abroad and designing marketing materials and ads

  • Instruct and manage team-building corporate events, Performance Driving Schools, SCCA Competition License School and various driving safety schools, including: Teen, Law Enforcement, and Corporate

  • Recruit, maintain, and coordinate instructor team for private lessons, plus events and schools

  • Represent MSR Houston at various chamber and community functions throughout the greater Houston area


SportsCar Magazine: April 2006- Present | Contributing writer & photographer

  • Contributing photographer & writer for feature stories including pre and post SCCA National Championship Runoffs coverage

  • Previously composed column and provided photographs monthly as representative for the Southwest Division of the Sports Car Club of America


Circuit of the Americas: August 2015- Present | Independent contract work, event logistics and management specialist

  • Provide logistical and leadership support for professional and club racing events

  • Coordinate registration of marshals, organization of transportation movements, and provide general logistical support

  • Serve as the team representative in dealing with SCCA Pro Racing and the Pirelli World Challenge Series officials

  • Handle logistical issues including travel and catering

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

Houston Region SCCA: August 2007- April 2018 | Regional Executive

  • Director of Houston Region Board of Directors leading the group to make decisions for the betterment of the club

  • Previously served as race chairman for 10 years handling the paperwork, budgets, preparation, and execution for all club racing events

  • Previously acted as the editor of the printed monthly newsletter generating content and managing distribution

  • Race chairman for Grand Prix of Houston (2013 & 2014) and INDY Grand Prix of Louisiana (2015) coordinating corner officials, firefighters and safety staff, logistical support and membership marketing with planning committees and on-site specialty teams. Worked with organizers during the events to solve evolving issues in an efficient manner

 
MSR Houston Charities: December 2009- Present | Founding Officer & Event Coordinator

  • Helped establish the non-profit organization to raise awareness and support for charities giving back the local community that do not receive national funding

  • Plan and coordinate all events, including our biannual Race 4 Charity races

  • Manage marketing, website, and online registration


Houston Modern Quilt Guild: January 2015- December 2017 | VP of Communications

  • Manage communications to the guild, document meetings and events through photos, sharing images and written in emails, social media, and websites

  • Previously organized the annual gathering during the International Quilt Festival and reached out to industry partners for donations
